The expanded third season picks up six months after the events of season two and follows Lt. Joe Leaphorn and Jim Chee as they investigate the disappearance of two boys, with only an abandoned bicycle and blood-stained patch of ground left in their wake. Meanwhile, Bernadette Manuelito attempts to settle into her new life 500 miles from home with the Border Patrol, but stumbles...。公元1912年，拳王遗腹子小马参选广东十虎败北，被母亲安排入洋务馆。小马发现多罗王爷勾结洋人走私烟土，遂烧毁了烟土。多罗王爷对小马一家赶尽杀绝，终唤醒了他保家卫国的良知，与多罗王爷展开了殊死搏斗。。薛海是公路站副站长，他临危受命到一个贫困的山村(酱子村)做第一书记，因为自己的兢兢业业受到了当地老百姓的爱戴。然而“村村通”公路施工队老板， 认为薛海严格把关道路质量，导致自己无利可图，便心生一计，以泼脏水的手段害的薛海被停了职。后来幸亏得上级部门的明察秋毫，最终还了薛海同志的清白，同时，酱子村的所有村民们也在请愿书上签了字，并按上了红手印，希望他们可亲可敬的薛书记还能回到村里工作! 如愿再次回到酱子村的薛书记，依旧是忘我的工作，可是天有不测风云，他因劳累过度，最终倒在了工作岗位上，大家痛心疾首，他们纷纷来到追悼会，怀着悲痛的心情送薛书记最后一程。。
