酒祖杜康的后人杜皮，惨淡经营一间小酒吧，酒吧的调酒师贺童本是竹林七贤之一的刘伶转世，专为盗杜康酒的配方而来。杜皮手中有一张祖传的杜康画像，地仙杜子春透露，杜康酒配方和酿造方法就隐藏在这张杜康画像中。机缘巧合之下，杜皮和贺童发现，这张杜康画像竟然有穿梭时空的神奇功能。于是，以杜康画像为媒介，同时，也为了寻找杜康酒的配方和酿造方法，贺童带着杜皮以及三个酒吧里的女招待一起穿古越今，和中国历史上的诸多名人纷纷邂逅，一段段奇幻的经历也就此展开。。Starz has given a pilot green light to half-hour comedy Run the World, which has cast Amber Stevens West (The Carmichael Show) and Bresha Webb (Marlon) as two of its four leads.
