It is a massive cloth collecting each piece as a memorial for each victim of the disease to both show the death toll and to show the humanity of the victims to those who would rather demonize them.。西碧勒（维吉妮·艾菲拉 Virginie Efira 饰）曾经是一名心理医生，却因为实在是太过于热爱文学创作，而最终选择放弃做医生，一心扑到了写小说上。一次偶然中，西碧勒邂逅了名为玛格特（阿黛尔·艾克萨勒霍布洛斯 Adèle Exarchopoulos 饰）的女子，玛格特是一名女演员，正身处于情感纠纷之中无法自拔。 玛格特参演了一部电影，却怀上了男主演伊戈尔（加斯帕德·尤利尔 Gaspard Ulliel 饰）的孩子，而伊戈尔和这部戏的导演是情侣关系。这段复杂的三角恋让玛格特痛苦无比，对西碧勒掏心掏肺，而西碧勒则偷偷录下了两人的谈话，作为创作小说的灵感。。
