节目选取全国各地近30家民间老馆子，以老店的拿手好菜、烹饪门道、滋味讲究、地道吃法为主线，以食欲为核心，讲述不同地域的民风、店主的经营故事和风趣幽默的本地生活。。导演两年前用纪录片《再见，白楼》（《金边白楼的前世今生》）向自己的童年故居致敬。今次有贾樟柯的公司参与制作，他则以剧情片来细说这栋大楼的居民在逼迁前的故事。主角和两位好友每天都在白楼内练舞，希望终有一天可以上电视台参加比赛。眼见白楼面临清拆，他的父亲想尽办法组织居民，向政府争取更合理的赔偿方案。此时死党亦将离开柬埔寨，他发现从前安稳的家园未必能跟上时代的变化。。An astronaut named Gary and his planet-destroying sidekick called Mooncake embark on serialized journeys through space in meijubar.net order to unlock the mystery of where the universe actually ends and if it actually does exist.
