The only problem is that instead of helping his master, the genie (Burl Ives) tends to get his master (Tony Randall) into more predicaments than he gets him out of.。杨柳年过半百，却意外结识了骗子王磊，被爱情蒙蔽的她不顾女儿陈青青的意愿，双方争执间被王磊的女儿王恋双双推下楼。清醒过来的陈青青却发现自己回到了二人结识的开始。陈青青想要唤醒母亲却被送进精神病院折磨。而杨柳最终能否识破阴谋？。
