国际知名合唱团指挥家严梓朗，为帮助昔日恩师返回香港，带领一群因闯祸而被迫参加“热血合唱团试验计划”的“废柴”学生们，从零起步学习合唱。众人一起面对生活的挫折与挑战，最终在音乐中找回了自我，用歌声治愈人生的同时，严梓朗深藏在心底的秘密也逐步被揭开……。Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。
