There's one of every character in the book: the good guy, the bad guy, the local sheriff, the lovely damsel, her father the old professor, etc. The scene where we're looking for the first time through ...。连续杀害五名男性的佐竹纯子（小池荣子 饰）最终落网，她的案件在社会上引起巨大轰动。至此热潮，精英记者田边绚子（松雪泰子 饰）受社长指派对其背景展开调查。通过相关人士的证言，绚子找到了纯子初中时代的好友篠田淳子（米姆拉 饰），但似乎却得到了完全相反的结论。好不容易调查有所突破，突然又有第六名受害者出现，于是绚子调转枪头沿着新的受害者这条线进行调查，发现死者的母亲守川谆子（麻生祐未 饰）与纯子有着奇妙的联系。就在此时，绚子曾经的同僚福留顺子（西田美尚 饰）找上门来，她又提供了新的线索…… 本片根据推理作家真梨幸子的同名原作改编。。
