《梅林: 死亡本能》在法国电影院上映一个月之后，吸引了180万观众。故事的下集《梅林：头号公敌》趁热打铁于2008年11月19日推出。雅克·梅林是70年代末期法国著名的大盗，曾犯下多起持械抢劫、绑架、越狱和杀人案。导演在下集故事中致力于塑造一个浪漫传奇，不顾其血腥罪行，似乎想把这位天性暴戾、狂妄自大的江洋大盗描述成一名犯罪明星，并把他提升到英雄的位置。。一棵香蕉树被暴风雨拔起，又被山洪冲到岸边。乌龟发现了，便喊来猴子帮忙把树扛回去。猴子看到香蕉，很想吃，就向乌龟提出分树，乌龟劝猴子等树长大了再分。猴子不肯，用斧头把树砍成两半，自己把有香蕉的那段扛走了。乌龟只好将带树根的那段搬回去种起来，经过它的精心管理，不久树根重新长出了树干，并结了满满一树香蕉。 猴子种的是带香蕉的那段树，由于没有根，慢慢地枯死了，猴子看看乌龟的满树香蕉，再看看自己的枯树，便一脚把枯树踢倒，垂头丧气的坐在地上。。Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty. But on top of the excruciating hardship of the work, they also have to fear an attack from the army.。
