"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。古龍筆下罕見不算英俊瀟灑的英雄人物蕭十一郎，由韋弘飾演。故事講述，武林高手蕭十一郎鋤強扶弱，劫富濟貧，卻有人冒名作惡，送「割鹿刀」托連城璧（鄒森）殺蕭。寶刀運送途中，被軒轅無敵奪去。後軒轅無敵（魯平）欲強搶美女沈璧君（邢慧），遭蕭十一郎發現，出手相救，英雄、美人漸生情愫，但沈璧君竟是連城璧之表妹，她不得不悄然而去。蕭十一郎行蹤敗露，被連城璧伏擊重傷，為沈璧君所救。後來，蕭十一郎得知「割鹿刀」落入軒轅無敵手中，決意將寶刀取回……。
