一直梦想成为作家的小呗（佐佐木藏之介 饰）和吃货一枚的优子（永作博美 饰）以朋友的身份交往长达十七年，因被某个时间触动心弦，小呗鼓足勇气向对方告白，知根知底的两个人顺理成章走到一起。他们自称笨蛋夫妇，笨但却有笨蛋的幸福。无奈命运何其残酷，优子婚后不久即被诊断患有癌症。新生命到来，旧的生命离去。小呗用博客记录下妻子最后这十个月的短暂时光。现实中，优子则仿佛以幽灵的状态回到丈夫身边，两人相互吐槽，延续着他们未竟的因缘…… 本片根据作家清水浩司在博客（ameblo）上以“川崎夫妇”的笔名连载的《癌症夫妇日记》改编，清水的妻子于2010年7月去世。。影片讲述一战中第一个获得英国维多利亚十字勋章的尼泊尔廓尔喀军人库尔伯·塔帕·玛加尔（Kulbir Thapa Magar VC）的经历，他曾在加里波第和埃及为大英帝国而战。After discovering their troop is in danger of disbanding, Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts set off to immerse themselves in nature and the great outdoors to earn their badges, with the Beagle Scout Manual as their guide.
