S国位于沙漠深处的秘密实验基地发生生化泄漏事故，变异生物袭击了整个基地。S国军方代表姆巴赫组织特种兵分队，并派遣女特工白炙、狴姣、鬼车保护生化专家哈文博士前往秘密基地。随着事态不断恶化，大量变异生物来袭，队员接连惨死，身怀绝技的女特工们命悬一线……。Morse finds himself the subject of a murder investigation when his friend, Beryl Newsome, is murdered at a rehearsal of the Magic Flute and he foolishly touches the murder weapon. Morse is suspended and DCI Bottomley, with DS Lewis assisting him, is put in charge of the case.
