But when her sister gets into a load o***al and financial trouble, Sandy accepts a too-good-to-be-true j...。高森美由紀の小説「ジャパン・ディグニティ」を映像化した本作は、青森の伝統工芸である津軽塗、通称“バカ塗り”をテーマにした物語。何をやってもうまくいかず自信を持てない青木美也子が、津軽塗職人の寡黙な父・清史郎との暮らしの中で津軽塗に改めて向き合い、自分の進む道を見つけていくさまが描かれる。。同じ作業（細胞分裂）を繰り返すだけの毎日に飽き飽きしていた一般細胞の前に、ステキな帽子をかぶった謎の細胞が現れる。その細胞は白血球（好中球）やキラーT細胞らにいたずらを仕掛けようと一般細胞を誘う。日頃のうっぷん晴らしをして楽しむ一般細胞。だが、このステキな帽子をかぶった細胞はいったい何者なのか……？。
