Daniele, after the intense experience he had during the CHT week, has...。电视台编导夏宁（迟佳 饰）大大咧咧，说话办事不靠谱，主编白丁（曹曦雯 饰）交给他一个任务，七天之内拿出《人间冷暖》栏目的拯救方案，否则走人。夏宁找来群众演员陕西汉子张大虎（田新平 饰），让他出演《卖煤的老张》，可张大虎做梦都想演皇帝，夏宁费了九牛二虎之力，总算调教好了这个“未来眀星”，完成了总编交办的任务，而他也从此受到了台里领导和同行的器重。几天后，台领导决定调整节目，把张大虎请来做娱乐访谈，为了不让大虎把他演卖煤老张的事说出来，夏宁忍痛化了不少的封口费。吃顺了嘴的张大虎令夏宁苦不堪言，他找来哥们帮忙，让张大虎终于过了一回演皇帝的瘾，而夏宁则从中悟出了什么......。
