位于冲绳的某个小间小镇，大城阳（阿部宽饰）和妻子美智子（ミムラ 饰）、母亲（吉田妙子饰）共同经营一家倍受学生欢迎的便当店。某天，大城结识了当地某高中摇滚乐团的成员比嘉彩（桜庭ななみ 饰）、仲村清志（野村周平饰）和伊野波海（森崎ウィン 饰）。此时三人正苦于没有练习的地点，得知他们的难处后，大城慷慨答应为他们提供练习场地。在他看来，现在的日本年轻人缺乏互助的精神与热情，于是他决心为孩子们做个榜样，为此不惜自费专门搭建了一座练习室。他免费将练习室借给学生们，条件则是不准考试不及格、要有礼貌、要互相关心等。大城的梦想终于实现，然而他的生命也仅剩下不多的时间了…… 本片根据真人真事改编。。In the town of Thiers, summer of 1976, teachers and parents give their children skills, love, and attention.
