该片根据真人真事改编而成，讲述了“为民模范”周国知在西南高寒地区基层民政干部的平凡工作岗位上求真务实、一心为民、默默奉献的感人故事。。五十岚唯织（洼田正孝饰）是一名诊疗放射线技师。此前受邀参与使用人工智能的读影辅助软件开发项目，唯织决定赴美，与同伴们告别。两年后，唯织回到日本，希望回到甘春综合医院。但是，新院长灰岛将人（高岛政宏饰）实施了医院的合理化，不再需要放射线科医生，工作都外包至影像中心。当年的同伴也各自转职到别的医院。有一天，小提琴家宝生真凛在独奏会上晕倒，坐在观众席上的灰岛将她紧急送往甘春医院。与此同时，已经不在甘春医院工作的甘春杏（本田翼饰），结束工作踏上归途，遇到了怀孕中的森迫由美（森宽和饰）腹痛难忍的样子。这时唯织出现了。@哦撸马。Tania and Daniela are two cousins who have maintained a close and intimate relationship throughout their lives.
