Throughout the series, Tim constantly finds himself in increasingly awkward situations in both his work and personal life。二十年前山洪肆虐，陈怀远痛失爱妻，幼子平安失踪，他半生寻觅，只为那一线希望。岁月流转，沙河村迎巨变，万山集团入驻，拆迁之际，陈怀远坚守旧居。没想到首富之子竟是失踪多年的平安。机缘巧合下，父子重逢。泪水中，是失而复得的喜悦，也是岁月沧桑的感慨。
