賈昭（廖偉雄飾）不務正業，與前妻淑賢(龔慈恩飾)離婚五年。一次，昭與銀行內巧遇劫匪打劫，本想與匪徒拼一生死來博取意外死亡保險金，怎料天意弄人，昭偏偏大難不死，而熱愛生命的鍾晴（許紹雄飾）反而中槍身亡。晴死後遺下妻子葉娉婷(馬敏兒飾) 及兩子女，無法安心離世，終是找昭上身，借他照顧家人。昭有感情死後仍對家人關懷備至，覺悟自己曾忽略家庭，逐決意與賢重修舊好，此時卻出現情敵劉志遠(洪朝豐飾)…。A documentary potted history of WW2, the novelty here is that most of the film has been "colorized". The maker does not like to use this word and prefers to say "restored" but to all intents and purposes it is seeing the war in colour that makes it more gory and emotional.
