檀木镇新任党委书记谭林生为求政绩毁林建设旅游度假村，大学生村官朱旺福带领村民现场阻挠，被免职。朱老八前往县检察院上访，控告镇干部损害群众利益贪污腐败。谭林生女儿患尿毒症送往医院抢救，谭林生火速返回县城……。A film director gathers his favorite actresses, those he worked with and those he loved. He wants to make a film about women but he doesn’t reveal much: he observes them, takes cue, until his imaginary throw them into another era, in a past where the noise of the sewing machines fills a workplace handled and populated by women, where men have minor and marginal roles and cinema...。
