Szaffi is a 1985 Hungarian animated film directed by Attila Dargay. It is based on the 1885 book The Gypsy Baron by Mór Jókai, about the romance between a poor Hungarian aristocrat and a mysterious Roma-looking Turkish girl in the 18th century. Music from Johann Strauss II's operetta The Gypsy Baron, based on the same novel, is used for the film's soundtrack.。少女布里切特（瑞贝卡·布兰迪斯 Rebekah Brandes 饰）是一家午夜电影院的工作人员，当晚，她所在的影院将要放映一部七十年代的老片《The Dark Beneath》。围绕这部影片曾发生过多起死亡惨案，它也因此被奉为邪典恐怖片中的圭臬。布里切特的男友乔什（Daniel Bonjour 饰）、好友马里奥（Greg Cirulnick 饰）、萨曼莎（Mandell Maughan 饰）和苏利（Michael Schwartz 饰）相约来此观看，一同前来的还有侦探贝隆斯（Jon Briddell 饰），就在不久前，影片的主创之一拉德福德从精神病院神秘失踪，贝隆斯相信拉德福德会在这里出现。诡异的电影情节让布里切特隐隐感到不安，然而一场模糊了现实和电影界线的杀戮正慢慢向他们袭来…… 本片荣获2008年芝加哥恐怖电影节最佳摄影和最佳影片奖。。
