史密森科教频道2018年利用官方和私人拍摄的大量彩色胶片，制作剪辑的八集《太平洋战争》，以美军视角讲述二战太平洋战区，并辅之以日本战争时的黑白宣传影片。之前的二战全彩纪录片多偏欧战，这是第一部太平洋战场的彩色纪录长片。其中经常穿插有中国抗日的镜头。。While Ted and Maxie are on a rock climbing trip to help conquer Ted's fear of heights, they find an unknown creature in the woods. They film their adventure and their footage is later discovered and compiled by an unknown person.
