But time has passed, and as old secrets and resentments surface, they realize that they are more seriously estranged than they had imagine...。叶繁星（戚薇饰）和男友肖寒（吴奇隆饰）相恋多年，感情十分要好，然而为了两人的事业着想，他们选择将这段恋情藏在地下。某日，叶繁星结识了名为闵四月（左航饰）的女孩，趣味相投个性相似的两人很快就成为了无话不谈的好友。与此同时，以为叶繁星单身的傅夏（任言恺饰）苦苦爱恋的叶繁星，可这段暗恋注定得不到回响。 一次偶然中，傅夏震惊的发现，叶繁星的地下恋人竟然正是自己的舅舅，而叶繁星亦察觉闵四月是自己失散多年的妹妹，不仅如此，闵四月喜欢的人，正是肖寒。为了成全旁人的幸福，叶繁星决定牺牲自我，然而她的付出却并没有换来回报，反而让大家落入了不幸的深渊之中。。
