漫画主笔叶风（张智霖 饰）与好友武云（陈奕迅 饰）一起在漫画界打天下，机缘巧合下，他们都加盟罗小虎的大帝国出版社。两个好友的共同心血《中华枭雄》漫画集一炮打响，他们虽然尝到了成功的喜悦和兴奋，但却被罗小虎利用完后一脚踢开。于是叶风和武云决定自立门户，组建了风云出版社。他们联袂推出的漫画《刀剑笑》和《古惑鬼》一时间风靡漫画界，将罗小虎的《中华枭雄》打得落花流水。岂料这时公司新来的女秘书阿梦（林心如 饰）令到叶风和武云二人成为情敌，加上罗小虎的挑拨离间，二人势成水火，最终两败俱伤。风云漫画社难道就此解散？。影片讲述了二十世纪八十年代，内蒙古老牛堡村村民翻修房屋时发现一枚印章。大学生柱子携带印章前往县委途中，偶遇从台湾归来的郑大山，郑大山的回忆揭开了抗战时期袁晨光等地下党员为保护该印章与日军斗争牺牲的往事。。Here's a modern-day film noir in which you're never sure what's real and what isn't real.
