A killer is in ...。影片描述的是渔家女周琼珠在打鱼时懈逅青年画家崔时俊，崔为琼珠画了一幅“渔家女”肖像。从此俩人产生爱情并订了婚。而渔霸之女张国瑛见崔时俊年少英俊，也欲与崔结亲，崔拒绝了张，去上海谋生。渔霸以要债为名，驱逐了琼珠父女，捏造崔另有新欢，琼珠受刺激，被逼成疯。周璇联系到自己悲凉生世，激起心灵的共鸣，演得认真入微催人泪下。。在一暴风雨晚上，服装业家周宏业驾车回家途中，发现一个不知名的妇人倒卧路旁，将她救回家中，才知是一名孕妇，且即将分娩，周妻唐静如手足无措，宏业外出觅医途中竟惨遭车祸，孕妇产下女婴婷婷後，留书离去，希望静如收养女婴……。
