Jason Katims及Jeffrey Seller开发的NBC新剧《非凡戏剧团 Rise》（前名《Drama High》）是根据Michael Sokolove所著的一书所改篇，作者是具开创性的高校戏剧教师Lou Volpe的学生。这部剧集讲述在宾夕法尼亚州Rust Belt镇上一间工人阶级的高校里，有个关心家庭﹑充满热情的教师Lou Volpe（《老爸老妈的浪漫史 How I Met Your Mother》主演Josh Radnor饰演）及不同凡响的学生组成了戏剧团，他们致力想为整个市镇带来激情。。三原火山爆发时弄醒了沉睡的哥斯拉，牠为了补充能源，先後袭击了一艘日本渔船及苏联的潜航舰。日本政府反对运用核武，皆因会连累无辜的市民蒙受死伤。于是出动超级火战机正面跟哥斯拉交锋。同时，林田博士亦发现了哥斯拉会受一种电波影响，并且会随它归巢。因此打算让哥斯拉随电波掉进火山口，并且将哥斯拉歼灭。。An ancient pig-like demon is set upon a group of college students by a mysterious being called The Dealer. Once they make a deal, and their wishes come true, the beast will take the students to his slaughterhouse in hell. Another mysterious being called The Messenger tries warning them, but it is too late, as each of the victims will have to face the beast Pigster。
