《王家一家人》是一部就现实性家庭问题深入展开的作品，反映以妻子为中心发生的事情、对学历至上主义敲响警钟、和著墨于子女间的矛盾、父母偏爱等。接档《最佳李顺心》,七月底开拍，8月末首播。。故事发生在世界的都会纽约，四个身份不同、背景不同的女人汤潘、凌风和何小藕因各自的心愿来到纽约进行圆梦，她们从事业的最低谷开始做起，经历异国他乡的人事沧桑，面对爱情、生活的艰难选择，最终得到自己的人生梦想。汤潘只身从中国大陆来到美国，一边在纽约时装学院学习时装设计，一边苦苦寻找失踪的爱人———画家荀大路。通过自己的努力，汤潘最终成为著名时装设计师，而凌风、凌姐、何小藕等人也在纽约开始了各自不同的故事。。To his Victorian London friends, Stephen Lowry is a heartbroken widower.
