３年ぶりに病院から戻った高梨光雄は、弟・裕太の家を訪れる。 再会を喜ぶ姪の知恵、その妹でダウン症の一希に迎えられ束の間の幸せを味わう光雄。 その夜、知恵にせがまれた光雄は被災地で見たひまわりについて語る。 知恵はその美しい景色を思い浮かべながら、太陽に向かって咲くひまわりと、時折ふと空を見ている愛しい一希の姿とを重ね会わせるのだった。 明くる日、知恵は光雄と遊園地に行きたい嘆願する。裕太と妻・葉子はそれを快く受け入れ、娘たちを光雄に預けるが・・・幸福な時間も束の間、遊園地で突然の不幸が訪れる。。On Christmas Eve in 1968 six-year-old army brat Clairee simultaneously learns the hard truth about Santa Claus and the realities of war. Her bullying older brother Mickey informs her that Santa insn't real and that their absent father is actually far away, serving his country in the Vietnam War。Seven people are kidnapped and suddenly find themselves part of a deadly game.。
