The film tells the story of three people for a year: a son (Magimel) diagnosed with cancer, a mother (Deneuve) suffering from helplessness and a doctor (Cécile de France) to do her job: One year and four seasons for these three characters to deal with the disease, to tame it, and to understand what it means to die while alive.。阿涵是一个潜伏在黑帮内部的卧底警察，秦爽是敌对黑帮老大的千金。阿涵为救边检高官的女儿，不得不将其绑架，却阴差阳错将秦爽绑了来。两人争吵不断又相互敌对，可日久生情，在相处中看到了对方的善良和可爱。接连的偶然事件发生，秦爽终于知道了阿涵的身份。阿涵将秦爽放走后，秦爽竟主动回来，要求阿涵继续绑架自己。此时的阿涵正值拿到黑帮贩毒证据的关键时机，秦爽的死缠烂打打乱了阿涵的计划，阿涵被秦爽折磨得几乎疯掉……。他倾尽全力领着小队只为了救出生病的女孩，却遭到恐怖组织设置的陷阱，这次，幸运之神能眷顾他与小队员的性命吗？。
