The film revolves around Tegan and Sara Quin, gay twin sisters from Calgary, Alberta, who formed a rock band that attracted devoted followers, many of them from the LGBTQ+ community. But in 2011, Tegan’s personal computer files were hacked, setting off a calamitous chain of events.。一对深爱对方的年轻人张隆（张乃歌饰）和菇月（赵今夏饰），因张隆对婚姻不作承诺，导致两人关系陷入互相伤害中。菇月对张隆的不作承诺心怀芥蒂，而张隆因感觉有愧于菇月，为摆脱良心上的负罪感，他以冷淡的态度逃避自己对菇月的感情。当菇月提出分手时，张隆终于认识到，由爱情走向婚姻，原来是一种天生的契约！。
