清末闽南精武馆接受朝廷邀请，特派出精武馆高手刘炮率众弟子进京表演，为慈禧太后宠爱的宝贝公主——白雪公主的大婚典礼做庆贺演出，却被为报父仇的洪坤所利用，卷入一场暗杀慈禧的阴谋，刘炮为求脱身而掳走了白雪格格，逃亡途中，二人暗生情愫，白雪决定陪刘炮赴台追查洪坤下落，不想到台湾后即无意间卷入了七崁之间矛盾纷争……。This would definitely not have been my kind of movie, but my husband saw it on TV and said it was really good. So, on his recommendation, I bought a copy, since I didn't know if it would ever be on TV again. I had never heard of anybody in it except Armand Assante. At first I had a hard time getting into the story, because the first part of the movie is a jumble of images-- and...。
