一位有权有势的神秘男子，有一个极其特别的爱好：沿着格鲁吉亚的海岸线收集百年古树。他会命令手下把古树连根拔起，移栽到他的私人花园里。其中一些树有15层楼那么高。为了运送如此巨大的古树，工人们必须砍倒沿途挡路的树，移开电缆，并铺设新路横穿当地的柑橘园。“连根拔起”已不再只是隐喻，它移栽进了一种压抑的、真实却又虚幻的现实。。“是的，帕吉尼娅”圣诞动画特辑，2009年12月11日与美国CBS电视台播出，根据1897年的真实故事改编，一位名叫Virginia O'Hanlon的8岁小女孩，给当时著名的纽约台太阳报去信，询问世间是否真的有圣诞老人，报社编辑对此进行认真的回复：“是的，帕吉尼娅，圣诞老人是有的”。。Finding herself the victim of a violent monster attack, Jane launches a vigilante campaign to hunt the beast that tried to kill her. Jane's efforts intensify, but her troubling history of drug use and mental illness bubbles to the surface causing her family, community, and authorities to question the authenticity of her account.
