本作是采访了80名日本电视台报道记者后根据真实内容改编的电视剧。以NTV报道局为舞台，报道奥姆真理教事件、秋叶原无差别杀人事件、女子大学生杀人放火事件以及时效废除、东日本大地震、疫情等象征各时代新闻的记者的困惑、犹豫、纠结。。他看守著神秘的魔法之門，為了追查受詛咒的復仇之書，他來到發生一連串警方未解謀殺案的小鎮，在當地魔法人員協助下緝捕到謀殺案背後的策劃者，但隨即發現有更深不可測的黑魔法在計劃著終結人類世界！他來得及阻止這場毀滅嗎？。Dr. Braun is forbidden to practice medicine because he's a Jew living in Nazi occupied Czechoslovakia.
